Yicheng Zeng successfully defended his master's thesis

Congratulations to Yicheng Zeng on Successfully Defending His Master’s Thesis!
Since joining our lab as an MS-Research student in Fall 2023, Yicheng has distinguished himself through his dedication and impactful work. Over the past two years, he has played a key role in several major projects, such as STRIDE and PogoX, where he spearheaded research in data-driven control techniques for complex, multi-domain locomotion. A highlight of his contributions is his thesis, which introduced an innovative foot mechanism for PogoX and enabled efficient skating using data-driven control methods.
Yicheng will begin his PhD studies in Fall 2025 working with Prof. Kaveh Akbari Hamed at Virginia Tech! In the meantime, he will continue to contribute to our lab’s research efforts throughout the summer.
